Be like Jesus

Struggles in the flesh are a common challenge daily. The crippling challenge is sin. We allow it to control our lives because we have let or defense down giving the opportunity for the enemy to spoil or priceless gift giving to us by Jesus Christ.
In the word of God, Jesus speaks on these challenges. How do we protect the greatest gift anyone can receive?

First of all we must have salvation “born again John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 
Let us look at sins that we must understand that will corrupt the chance of ever being with the Lord.
1.      Lying: not telling the truth

2.      I Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

We have discovered the sins that tear us away from becoming like Jesus. Because we are in this world we will see and hear of these sins daily. The bible helps us maintain a Godly ready mind to be alert on the dangers that are around to avoid them. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
There will be days that you become a target of abuse from your family, your co-workers and friends, the bible speaks of this that you will have to endure all such things, but be strong the Lord. The bible calls them trials. I Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  
Don’t be a shame on the new transformation from darkness unto light. Jesus tells let your light shine before man that they may see what God has done with you. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
