What is an aliment?

Let’s make reference to a car that can’t hold a straight direction. It is like forcing the driver of the car to hold the steering wheel against the pull causing the tires to wear out quicker than they should last. This means the vehicle driving system is off centered.

Proverbs 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

The feeling of conviction (off centered)

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death   
Peter was called by the Lord Jesus, and was told that he knows the truth, but ignored the warning. 

Acts 26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. (This is like holding the steering wheel against the pull)

What happens when you let your sins rule your way?

Do not yoke yourself with unbelievers    

II Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (It’s like having a square tire with a round ones)

I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Why go back to the milk when you pass that point of age Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Hebrews 5:11-14 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

If you ignore the conviction for correction God will give you to a reprobate mind. 

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 

Going back to the car and your tires

 If by chance, you have noticed a bald wear on your tire simply letting you know that your car needs a new tires and, get an aliment done because that’s what cause the wear on the tire in the first place now, you are very aware of it, what do you do? This is like the conviction you are feeling when the Lord is warning you to correct your ways, it is like holding onto sin, and worrying about the consequence afterward. Throw away those old tires (Ephesians 4:22,23 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;    

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Strait is the gate, but very few will enter in

Matthew 7:13,14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Living in the will of God

How many people in this world are truly living in the will of God? I image that there are many that are not true Christian, and they know it.

John 7:17-18 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 

Many people will know how to repent, but many will fall away from the truth, and few will enter in to heaven.

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

When a person converts from darkness unto light for the glory of the Lord they hold that which is pleasing unto God, not man.

I Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Ephesians 4: 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

We are here not to entertain man, but we are here to glorify God in the spirit. Because the spirit is greater than our flesh, it doesn't seek for the cares of the world, but the for the need to glorify God. If we obey the spirit of God we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

I John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

We should be set apart and sanctified and of a ready mind always willing to assist in the time of need to anyone looking for a chance of hope.

II Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 

I Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

True faithful God fearing children of the Lord are persecuted all the time 

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Psalms 44:21-22 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.22Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Don't be surprised if the world hates you, or doesn't treat you well. The Love, and glory of God lives in you, this is why they treat you differently.    

I John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

We will be tested as Christians walking in the will of God. This test will strengthen your faith. And make you aware of Satan's attacks. Making the effort to look for help through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

I Peter 4:12-14 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Christian don't take a vacation's on God. (We) as believers in Jesus Christ, are to live in holiness as God expects us to live.

I Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

How would you judge a church that is living in the will of God? If the name of the church is called "Church of Jesus Christ", let's just say If you would walk into this church and, you would see all matters of evil things, and things pertain to the cares of the world, what type of temple would you think it would be?  

I Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Are you ready to live the way Jesus Christ is please with? Lets clean up our temple which is our bodies. And let's start from the inside, and reflect the glory of God on the outside.
