I need to climb higher

To describe my view of climbing higher let's look at a mountain. God uses a mountain written in the bible as a higher plat toe, a noticeable target, a sure foundation an unmovable creation of God. Let's look at some of the written words in the bible describing a sure foundation.

God was in the mountain to meet Moses, and spent time to talk to him in a higher place.

Exodus 24:18  And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Don't you feel safer on higher ground? If you have already started your journey climbing the mountain of God don't look back at were you were before.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

God used a mountain to bring Moses to meet him because the mountain was his own creation, God didn't want anything unclean to touch, even the edge of the mountain, because God is Holy.

Exodus 34:1-3 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount. 3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

Psalms 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

I Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

If your struggle through life and, you're looking for a reprieve of relief, you will need to keep climbing and never let you joy, and confidence to be turned away by the world, nor people that will mislead you from the direction God is leading you on.

Don't give the devil his praise in your hot displeasure, you will always be the winner pleasing the Lord Jesus Christ going to him in prayer and, praise keep climbing, the Lord will always be your harness.

Isaiah 26:7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

Put your care on things above

Colossians 3:2 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Our thoughts, and our ways are not like the Lord.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Trust in the Lord, and don't try to figure out how and, when it's going to happen. Just put your trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Remember, Press toward the mark...

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 66:1  Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

We are set free from sin through Jesus Christ

Romans Chapter 8:1-17

We all have come short of the Glory of God, and other words, we are sinner doom for death with no return to life again. What can we do to correct our fallen short of the Glory to God?

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

What is not acceptable as the bible call it sin?

First let us look at the 10 commandments

Exodus 20:1-17 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.13Thou shalt not kill.14Thou shalt not commit adultery.15Thou shalt not steal.16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's life, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Jesus Christ spoke and said that the greatest of all commandments is.

Matthew 22:36-40  Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We are not saved through the law, but through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Mark 2: 27 Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

This is a great statement! The law was not given to be our master, but to be a guide. First of all to Christ, and secondly to righteous living in Christ. Jesus tipped the scale so the law was no longer above us, and instead, we were above it through the sacrifice of Christ.

We most except the challenge that we are sinners fallen short of receive total freedom from death of our sins, and face Christ ,Jesus in surrendering our sins to Jesus for the remission of our sins, and be saved.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

For God so loved the world

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Once you are hook in a solid relationship with Jesus Christ nothing will be able to separate you from the love of Jesus.

Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let's be ready for a wonderful return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has told us that we will have a mansion in heaven.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

The Lord Jesus is coming soon......

Switched into clean living

Put away the old man

Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

God's amazing grace, like the song

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost but now I'm found, Was blind but now I see.

The Lord's children are marked with the blood of Jesus Christ, and with righteous. As Christian we must hold unto the truth of the word of God, and live according to what is written.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Called to be holy

I Peter 1:13-16 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Stop, the curse words, and dirty jokes

Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

The Godly will Be Delivered

II Peter 2:7-9  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

The backslider is turned back to its old ways, it's like a dog going back to its own  vomit again.

II Peter 2: 20-22 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Our holy living is seen through the instruction of the Lord in the spirit, this is how we hold strong to a Godly living.

I Corinthians 2: 14-16 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
The Lamp of the Body

Matthew 6:22-23 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Your good deeds of work are not complete with Christ, Jesus unless you have faith, and works together. (Faith is believing in Jesus Christ, and living the Holy word of God.)

James 2:18-20 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
