Things that provoke God

There are 6 things God hates

Proverbs 6:17 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

When a person exercises the practice works of the flesh they devise their own evil

Psalms 36:4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Psalms 81:12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

You know better, in that which you do is not expectable with God

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened

The Lord is always watching to keep you from falling. If we read about Cain and Abel in Genesis 4:6-7 We could understand that Satan will find a way to divert you from trusting in the Lord.  And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Proverbs 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

He that has called you is Holy

I Peter 1: 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Cures words, or words of evil or, worldly lustful speaking put away from you

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

A person that ignores instruction  loves death. Be obedient unto the word of God, and you will be filled with joy.

Proverbs 8: 33-36 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

If you have hatred towards anyone how can you say that you love God whom you have never seen?

I John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

There are two most important commandment Jesus Christ mentioned in the bible

Matthew 22:38 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Keep the Lord thy God pleased with your life and, you will have a peaceable, and joyous life with Jesus Christ our Lord.

Be Blessed.

The bread of Life

The bible tells us that we nourish our bodies to take care of them. The Lord Jesus Christ also, wants us to do the same as the church.  Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:  The Lord wants all people to take care of their body, but  the most of all important is to nourish our bodies with Jesus Christ.

The bible tells us that we are the temple of the holy ghost

I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

A true devoted life to Jesus Christ will enable you to trust in faith by the word of God.  Jesus Christ our Lord is the true bread of life in which you will never go hungry.

St. John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Think on this? image your walking through a mall and,  you're passing all these stores, and suddenly you smell a familiar smell of good fresh baked bread. Your mind begins to see an image of the bread you are smelling, your taste buds go into over drive, and your reaction will lead you on the trail to follow where the good tasting smell of bread is coming from.  We, "all enjoy eating food". This is a blessing of the Lord.

Remember to always say your Grace, to be graceful of your blessings.

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

If we are aggressive like we are in our senses for food towards the Lord Jesus Christ we will never be hungry or thirst again, because his supply for our needs will never run out.

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

The Miracle Feeding of the Five Thousand  (John 6:1-14)

The bible points out that we don't live alone by the food that we are blessed with.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

When Jesus Christ was in the wilderness contenting with the devil. The first sentence that came out of the month of Satan was make these stones to be made bread.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

We could eat too much food and get sick, and besides, food is only temporal. Just think of the days in the bible when the people of Israel had famine years of no food they trusted in there belly then they trusted in the Lord for help.

I Corinthians 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

In the old testaments Daniel had the opportunities to eat of the best foods of the Kings meat. The only problem was, that the celebration of the Kings party was arranged for the cares of a sinful party, in which Daniel  and the 3 Hebrew boys did not want to associate with sinful cares of the world so, they choose to eat vegetables and water and live by the word of God.

Daniel 1:8-16 Daniel's Faithfulness

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. 11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. 13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. 15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. 16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Let us remember to keep in mind, and in our heart this scripture

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Right time, Right place, and ready

Are we living the right life for the Lord? Some of us may say they are, In one breathe one my say, I'm a good person. The bible tell us that doing good alone will not save you.

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

James 2: 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Now is the accepted time to receive the gift of salvation

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

II Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Why do we feel compelled to be lead by the devil? Because we don't have enough of God in us to live a Godly and, holy life for the Lord.

James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

If the word of God is in us why do you sin? Because you love the world more then you love God. What is loving the world? The bible tells us not to covet.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

The bible tells us that if we love the world we don't love the Father in Heaven.

I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Anything in the world that draws us away from reading the word of God, praying, doing God's work could be attached to the works of Satan.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Let's us be totally committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and, reap the benefits of a well rounded life with God. Be always ready at the coming of the Lord, because his time is getting near for us to finally be at rest with him in Heaven.

James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

                                                   “My Challenge to you”

If you are not a Christian, I invite you to receive the hope and peace in your heart that only Jesus gives.

To become a Christian, you must deal with Christ Jesus directly. In A quiet moment, bow your head and talk to him. In your own words say something like this:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe that you died and rose from the dead to save me from my sins. I want to be with you in heaven forever. God, forgive me of all my sins that I have committed against you. Wash me in your precious blood. I here and now open my heart to you and ask you to come into my heart and life and be my personnel Savior. Amen.”

If you say that to Christ and mean it, He will come in instantly. At once you will sense you have been transferred from the devil’s dominion to the kingdom of God. Read Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
