We were greedy – we were selfish, self-righteous “We must of forgot God”

God is not the author of confusion

(I Corinthians 14:33) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

In this country we learn from our parents. It’s normal for people to drink, have sex before marriage, shack up; this is considered normal in this nation.

We need to hold on to the truth

Jesus tells us, that we shouldn’t take any thought for tomorrow, because the days are evil. (Matthews 6:34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Do you know that people are looking for sign, Jonas was a sign that God sent him

(Luke 11:29,30) And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
30: For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

But we have one greater then King Solomon here. The Messiah, and we are not paying any attention to him.

We are just coming to church as a duty, and hoping to escape judgment. “We are dedicated to our job, are home, are self, are flesh, but not God.

God wants us to be dedicated to him. He wants us to lean on him for everything.

**America was changed from September 11

After the September 11 people have changed,

Do you know that 4000 people attended a church service in New York and emptied 6x in one day?

“I don’t want it to go back to normal”

People have realized that we can’t be with out God.

We are hopeless with out God. The Government can protect us from terrorists.

This was a good change people helping each other more then ever before.

Before September 11 they couldn’t get enough blood donors.

Remember when they needed blood donors they got so much that they had to close the blood center down.

There where teenagers volunteering for the army to help fight terrorist in great numbers for this country.

“I don’t want to go back to normal”

Talk shows were even talking about prayers for the tragedies of the lost families and loved ones, and the nation.

We need to voice our concerns to the people that we can’t make it with out God.

God’s wants to do things, but we are holding on to sin. God can’t work with us if we don’t give it up! He wants to perform miracles.

We can do greater works through Jesus.

(John 14:12-15)Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.

“I don’t want to go back to normal”

Do you remember the people in the streets covered with ashes? On September 11, 2001. You couldn’t tell what color the people were. Racism dead that day, lets keep it that way.

People are not as self-centered as they use to be after September 11. People are praying for one another, “This is not normal in this world. In the bible it is; but not in this world.

In the book of Luke Jesus was confirming that he was bringing Salvation to the Gentiles. Salvation was not for the Jews alone, but for the Gentiles too.

Stop thinking about yourself, and think of others. God is alive, and he’s not dead? Do you think that he is trying to wake us up?

Teaching us a lesson! “I believe he is”

Do you think that the enemy is not each other? And the power is not our self? And the future is not the bank account?

You put your truth in the arm of your flesh, and it will fail you – You put your trust in the world, and it will fail you.

Do you know that we are pilgrims and strangers in this world?

(Hebrews 11:13) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

We are a chosen generation (I Peter 2:9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

When in doubt cast it out, do you know that doubt is a sin? The only way we will get saved is through Jesus Christ.

**Praying is not worship? Praying is asking God for something.

Praises is not worship? Praises is when God has answered your prayer. And when you received it you praise him.

Worship is feeling of the Heart. When you have Jesus, and love him worship him in truth – when you worship him it’s in love spirit and truth.

(Ephesians 5:8,9) For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Be like that David that slew that Giant, the Giant of lust, the giant of sex, drugs, and any ungodly sin in your life.

Psychiatrist says that children, will try drugs once in there lifetime. It’s natural they say, but the word of God tells me that they fell from the will of God. And the Devil betrayed you into it.

In the Bible a lot of young people never got betrayed out of the will of God. They knew that God ruled in there life.
