How to prepare your heart for the Lord

How to prepare the heart for the Lord

Out of darkness into the marvelous light at one time we were blinded to the truth of the ordinance of the Lord.
Do you see with your eyes or do you see through the eyes of the Lord? The Pharisees asked Jesus if they were blind.

John 9:39-41 And Jesus said, "For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind." 40Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, "We are not blind too, are we?" 41Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, 'We see,' your sin remains.

Example: A sign of relief, Just imagine you fall into a deep hole and, it was so dark you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. And you feared the worst that no one would find you and, you would die from the lack of food and water. In your very heart you had a will to find your way out of that deep and dark place. You begin to walk to find a way out and, you feel a slight breeze, using your human senses to possibly determine that you are heading in the right direction this could very well be the way out. After following your sense of direction and have been walking for some time, you begin to see a light up ahead; at this time you have a sign of relief that you are going home.

The Lord has said that the blind could not lead the blind.
Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
Believing in what the Lord has given us to guide us into all truth is the Word of God.

Proverbs 16:1-3 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Let us recall the time when Saul then name changed to Paul was a persecutor of the Christian he thought that he was doing a service eliminating what he thought was correct in his eyes by killing the followers of Jesus Christ.

Paul was blinded by the light
Acts 25:25 "But since I could not see because of the brightness of that light, I was led by the hand by those who were with me and came into Damascus.
Paul needed to become blind to see his own sins in his heart, so he could go to the Lord Jesus Christ for help and direction to his mission in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Paul was transformed into a child of God to do the services for Jesus Christ.
We only knew sin when our eyes were opening in this world, but in the new life there is no sin.
Genesis 3:4-5 The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die! 5"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
