Do you carry the light of God?

Becoming a witness for Christ is a full time job. We are to live the life to bring the word to lost souls. John the Baptist did it for Christ, Jesus.

(St. John 1:6-13) 6: There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7: The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8: He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9: That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11: He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Now, living the life doesn’t mean just understand the bible and read it for the benefit of knowledge, and live like the Devil, and still live in sin.
And saying bad words, and drink like a drunken sailor. It’s a lifetime commitment to live under the blood of Christ, In Holiness, in total surrender to give up sin. (Hebrews 12:14)  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

(Romans 6:19) I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

You have to know you’re saved! Just like your heart beating giving you life, if it stops your dead. When you repented of your sin you become a new creature. Old thinks are past away.

(2 Corinthians 5:17)  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Remember, all have sin and falling short of the Glory of God

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

We are born in this world as sinners. We need Jesus in our life to be resituated to give us life. Just like your heart if it stops your dead. In God’s eyes if you’re living in sin, and you know it, you’re dead in sin. You’ll never know your appointed time of death; this is why you most be ready at all time.
