The glory and the power of the Gospel

The Lord has giving us the ministry for us to study the gospel to lead us to him and the kingdom to come.

II Corinthian 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

When reading the word of God it touches the deepest things in your life that reveals your errors, this in fact condemns you. Now, knowing that disposing of the things that condemn you,  it time to find an answer for correction. After coming to the point of repentance we now feel that we have an honest relationship with Christ Jesus. Remember, that you may be able to fool man, but you can't fool God in your lies calling yourself a Christian, when in fact you are not.

II Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

No one will enter into to heaven with sin in their lives.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  Verse 2

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

The bible doesn't make sense to them that are lost and refuse to see the truth.

Verse 3

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

The devil has covered the truth with a lie turning the hearts of possible believers into believing that they have time, finding a church that conforms to their liking.

Verse 4

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

We don't preach or teach a meth of words from an old book, but we preach the word of God that has moved us by his holy spirit. Those that know the Lord Jesus Christ, the light has come to them and the truth has sent them free.

verse 5

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Jesus Christ was born into this world to make a path out of darkness to lead all men on to the light, and prepare their lives for the life to come.

Verse 6

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We become a valuable earthen vessels for the glory of God.

Verse 7

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
