Are you going to Heaven?

In this world we prepare for the future to retire, but have we prepared for the new life to come for those that are ready to meet the Lord Jesus Christ? When do we start preparing for the future for Heaven? The answer is today, and don't keep procrastinating, and promising yourself that you are going to prepare for the coming of the Lord.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Matthew 8:21, 22 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Today is the day for salvation, don't wait until it's too late.

II Corinthians 6:2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Proverbs 29:1 1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Why did Jesus Christ have to die? Because he took the form of sin on the cross to offer himself to the father for the sin of the world.

Hebrew 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The bible tells us that heaven is within us.

Luke 17: 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Jesus is the gate keeper to the kingdom of heaven

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In my father's house are many mansion

John 14:2-4  2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Heaven was not made that sin would continue in Heaven, but it was made for those that have giving their life to Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The word of God states that we are born into this world as sinners, and have falling short of the Glory of God, so that means that we need to prepare for the new life without sin.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

If you are squirming in discomfort because you know that you are not clean from sin don't keep procrastinating in your sins, because you may find yourself left behind, and will not have a second chance to enter in the kingdom of heaven.

Hebrews 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
