The bread of Life

The bible tells us that we nourish our bodies to take care of them. The Lord Jesus Christ also, wants us to do the same as the church.  Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:  The Lord wants all people to take care of their body, but  the most of all important is to nourish our bodies with Jesus Christ.

The bible tells us that we are the temple of the holy ghost

I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

A true devoted life to Jesus Christ will enable you to trust in faith by the word of God.  Jesus Christ our Lord is the true bread of life in which you will never go hungry.

St. John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Think on this? image your walking through a mall and,  you're passing all these stores, and suddenly you smell a familiar smell of good fresh baked bread. Your mind begins to see an image of the bread you are smelling, your taste buds go into over drive, and your reaction will lead you on the trail to follow where the good tasting smell of bread is coming from.  We, "all enjoy eating food". This is a blessing of the Lord.

Remember to always say your Grace, to be graceful of your blessings.

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

If we are aggressive like we are in our senses for food towards the Lord Jesus Christ we will never be hungry or thirst again, because his supply for our needs will never run out.

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

The Miracle Feeding of the Five Thousand  (John 6:1-14)

The bible points out that we don't live alone by the food that we are blessed with.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

When Jesus Christ was in the wilderness contenting with the devil. The first sentence that came out of the month of Satan was make these stones to be made bread.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

We could eat too much food and get sick, and besides, food is only temporal. Just think of the days in the bible when the people of Israel had famine years of no food they trusted in there belly then they trusted in the Lord for help.

I Corinthians 6:13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

In the old testaments Daniel had the opportunities to eat of the best foods of the Kings meat. The only problem was, that the celebration of the Kings party was arranged for the cares of a sinful party, in which Daniel  and the 3 Hebrew boys did not want to associate with sinful cares of the world so, they choose to eat vegetables and water and live by the word of God.

Daniel 1:8-16 Daniel's Faithfulness

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. 11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. 13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. 15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. 16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Let us remember to keep in mind, and in our heart this scripture

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
