The power of believing

Why is it hard for some of us to believe in the glory of God?

We are Living in the carnality of life on this earth, because we are only human, we want to see the evidence to be convinced. What did the Lord say in the word of God.

Luke 11:29,30  And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. 30. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

The bible tells us that we must first be born again in order for us to enter in the Kingdom of Heaven.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

How do we get born again? Let see the story of Nicodemus

Verse 1 Nicodemus was a ruler of the Jews

John 3:1-15 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Verse 2 Let us understand that Jesus was a man of God, but Jesus seen that he was not clean of his sins in his life.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

We may think that we are saved just knowing God, but we lack a renewed heart and mind, have not asked Jesus to wash us in his precious blood of Jesus Christ we are yet a sinner.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

I John 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

2.The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Verse 4 Nicodemus question Jesus about being born again Nicodemus was looking at the words of Jesus through the eyes of the flesh.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Verse 5 Jesus speaks on the requirements to be born again.

Christian baptism in water is the public symbolic outward representation of the Born Again Baptism, identifying the newly born again believer with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. It is done in obedience to Christ, by believers, to a born again believer signifying their prior spiritual new creation in Christ.

And, the Spirit which is the spirit of God that convicts you of you sins. It doesn't feel good when you feel goodness inside of  you, and still have bad in you also. This is where the bible said that the flesh is fighting against spirit, and the spirit against the spirit of God.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Verse 12 Jesus told Nicodemus if  you don't believe the words that I speak of  earthy things, How will you except those things that are heavenly things.

 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

If we live by worldly religious tradition we will have a hard time excepting the heavenly things that we cannot see yet. We do not live by logical theory, or by eating healthy foods alone. We live by the word of God.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
