The feeling of peace

Matthew 26:42
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Jesus on the night that He was betrayed was troubled in His spirit and He went to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. He went back three times and kept praying, saying the same words again. There is a time to pray in faith and stand on it, but here we see that Jesus Himself went back and prayed the same words again when He was troubled and sorrowful. He prayed until He had the peace to face the trial that was coming.

I often pray while driving down the road, but real peace comes to me when my face is on the carpet pouring my heart out to God. Pray hard, get real, get serious, it is life changing. Submit your life to God’s plan with “My Father, Your will be done.” I have seen impossible situations change overnight through intense prayer, but you have got to be desperate. You have got to want it.

Today if you are facing something that will not leave you alone, and you are troubled, anxious and sorrowful. Find a quiet place alone and spend time praying and sitting in the Lords presence until the peace comes. When it does, you can face anything.

Be persistent to the Lord, he hears your prayers
Hebrew 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Have a wonderful day in the Lord, May God bless you
