I have noticed an increase in foul language over the years.
If you go back 15 to 20 years you didn't hear so much bleeping sound on the television sets blanking out the curse
words as you hear today. And even the music of today with curse words added to the lyrics of the
songs, there is no need for that. This is a sign of the evil on the raise in
this world. Cursing, bad word, slang word that mean the same as your common
curse words. Why do we use it? Is it to
get attention? is it to get wisdom? do you have a good reason? Ask yourself why
do people use profanity, is it another form of language
translation, If you attended a church service would you use curse words during
or after service? no, because you feel guilty, because it's the house of God.
So, if you wouldn't curse in the house of God made with man's hands, would you
think that Heaven made by God would approve cursing in Heaven? The Church building
will not save you nor protect you from Gods Judgment. You make up the church of
God, you are the temple of the Holy Ghost keep it clean.
Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your
mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister
grace unto the hearers.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger,
wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Remember the story when Jesus was getting persecuted for
what the people called a crime for teaching the word of God, and lying hands on
the sick, and many other good works he did, and Jesus told Peter that he would
deny him 3 times, but Peter insisted that he wouldn't, and Peter even said that
he would die for the sake of Jesus. of
course that didn't happen. He deny Jesus and lied, and cursed. Did Peter's lying and cursing help the matter?
NO..
Matthew 26: 74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying,
I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. 75 And
Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow,
thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
The Lord Jesus Christ love's us a lot, Let us search our
hearts today, and find the peace that Jesus Christ fought hard to get for us to
have salvation to make Heaven our final home forever.
It's time to come to the lord in prayer ask Jesus into your
life today.
“My Challenge to you”
If you are not a Christian, I invite you
to receive the hope and peace in your heart that only Jesus gives.
To become a Christian, you must deal with Christ Jesus directly. In A
quiet moment, bow your head and talk to him. In your own words say something
like this:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe
that you died and rose from the dead to save me from my sins. I want to be with
you in heaven forever. God, forgive me of all my sins that I have committed
against you. I here and now open my heart to you and ask you to come into my
heart and life and be my personnel Savior. Amen.”
If you say that to Christ and mean it, He will
come in instantly. At once you will sense you have been transferred from the
devil’s dominion to the kingdom of God. Read Romans 10:9 That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
