Going shopping for the Lord second floor

Second floor; called prayer

Has this ever happen to you? You entered a store and already knowing what you are going to pick up, and you find someone employed for the store catches your attention alerting you on a great opportunity advertising something that you were not intended to buy, and that person doing his job will try to get you to buy something you may never need. The Devil will work in the same matter as the one in the store trying to distract you, and change the plans that are written in your heart intended for the will of the Lord to carry out a mission you knew you had to do.  Has this ever happen to you, when you had the time to pray with unlimited time, and something comes up to distract you from this special time with the Lord, the phone rings, not usually common for it to ring at this time, a knock at the door, a salesman, a racket of noise, everyone on your block suddenly wanted to mow there lawns. Why? Those things suddenly happen on this day that you really want a strong prayer with the Lord? Can you take a guess why theses annoying distraction come in an inconvenient time? That old slue foot Himself, the Devil. He doesn't want you to pray to the Lord, fearing that you will get stronger, and find the best relationship with Christ Jesus. When seeking him, and giving him the special time between you, and God. Remember what Jesus went through in the wilderness, when he was fasting and praying with the father. This is a time you deeply seek the lord for your strength, direction, and prayers for others.
(John 10:12)But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
Stick with the plan and watch for those salesman wasting your precious time trying to change your plans to divert your initiative interest for your purchase on what you really came for. You knew what you were going to buy. The Devil works like the salesman trying to distract you from your motivated action on what the Lord had you to do. (Luke 8:13)They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Do you remember the story of when the Lord Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, and 40 nights fasting, he didn’t go to the wilderness to take a rest, or take a vacation, my friend? Remember he wasn’t alone that old annoying Devil was doing his job while Jesus was doing his seeking for strength, and direction for our dead soul’s like the father said, he gave his only begotten son so we my live (John 3:16) our Lord Jesus Christ knew what he had to do in order for us to gain salvation for our soul’s. (Matthew 4:1-11) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2: And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3: And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5: Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6: And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7: Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10: Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11: Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
It’s like the person cunning you in getting you to signed up to a contract telling you that you have a limited time left before this special offer ends. It’s like the cunning works of the tricks of the Devil telling you, live it up! You only have one life to live, you will have plenty of time to repent, the world doesn’t show to many signs that the end of the world is near so, the devil will fill your mind with ideas that you could buy yourself some time to play, and the devil getting you think that you would be able to repent with plenty of time based on your own judgment on the condition of the world getting worst. Or, say to yourself am too young to get saved, I still have a long stretch of worldly fun. The bible says that the Lord Jesus will come like a theft in the night and you will not know the day or the hour that he will come. Lets exam this a little closely, when you walked in the store, and the store employee called you over to get you to purchase that product the store employee may have seen you with money hanging out of your pocket in which describes the weakness of Jesus at the wit end of the fast, and it caught his attention to cripple you of your needs to fulfill his true desire for the Lord’s work. What Jesus did for us, was a committed to accomplish his needs and used the word of God as his map to direction for answers to true desire. Now! You know how important prayer in our daily walk with the Lord can become to accomplish many obstacles alone the way.
