Delivered By The Lord

The Lord simply has done so much for us, words cannot describe.

Psalms 116:1-9

1I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.4Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.”

** We are to be thankful everyday, and to make sure that God gets all the praise and glory. He has done the impossible with all of His love for us. **

We were delivered by Jesus Christ through His precious blood.

Deliverance of:

1.   Death

2.   Tears and sorrow

And

3.   Instability

//////////////////////

A. Death

Romans 6:1-7

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin.”

Romans 6:22-23

22But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

**God has given a free passage of the way out of darkness and death. He is the key to our salvation and freedom from sin and death. He is the only way to get to heaven. Many have tried over time and many still fight to try another way in but it is impossible, and it always goes back to Jesus. Jesus proved that sin has chained us and leads us to the road of death and tormentation. But He has given another way out, and that was with the price of His life. **

B. Tears and Sorrow

Psalms 34:15-18

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

** Jesus knows the sufferings of this world; He lived among us at one time. But He proved a solution that would gain us peace without conforming to this wicked world. Through the strength of His Father in Heaven. He gave a simple life manual for us all the live by. 1.) Confession of your sins 2.) Allowing the Lord to lead your life

3.) Abide in Him and Obey His commandments 4.) love and forgive your brethren.  We will truly receive the peace that we need by following these commandments.  And to start it off, he shows compassion unto those with the burdens that they have carried for so long (sins, struggles, life, etc). **

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

** Such wonderful and simple instructions that lead to a happier life, that gives us hope knowing what we will receive in the end. **

Luke 16:19-25

“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.”

C. Instability

**Without Christ , our ways are unstable and we don’t know where we are going. We don’t know whether we are coming or going. But Jesus is the light that we need to be brought out of darkness. He is the one that can give you hope where you need it the most. **

Ephesians 5:8

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”

John 8:12

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

**Before knowing Jesus Christ, our roads were dark and uneasy. We didn’t know if we were coming or going. Feeling unsafe, unstable and unsure where the road would lead us. At times, sure you felt you were in control of your life, thinking you are the boss of what would come ahead. But not knowing satan was directing your path, leading you to where you would soon be lead to your death in eternal tormentation. But Jesus stepped right in and offered you something that will completely change your life. Giving you an ultimatum, that brings stability, joy, peace, strength and something that no one can give you freely: Salvation- to be freed from sin and darkness. And given the chance to be in true eternal paradise in the end. But remember, He gives you a choice, seeing that we have freewill. Will you make the right decision? As you get up and take Jesus’ hand you will walk upright on solid ground, and the light will be given to you, where before you couldn’t see where you were going, now you have clear vision. Then there are some that think that without Jesus, if they will eventually find another way, a light to the tunnel. Not knowing that deception will take them away forever, where you can't turn back, and not receive a second chance. (The Lord’s return). **

Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

**Never step back in the darkness; never step back where you couldn’t see where you were going. Jesus was the Word of God made flesh, and the word is a lamp unto our feet, a light unto our path to lead us where we need to go. In that, we know we are on solid foundation, safe and grounded in the Lord. The Word of God gives us understanding in the ways we need to be grounded to live a successful life with Him. It gives us instructions of what is right and what is wrong. Breaking down all excuses and giving light to all criticisms of the many in this world.**

Matthew 7:24-27

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Make you calling sure

II Peter 1:10

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Peter wants to rouse the complacent believers who have listened to the false teachers and believe that because salvation is not based on good works they can live as they want. If you truly belong to the Lord, he says, your hard work (diligence") will prove it. If you're not working for God, maybe you don't belong to him. If you are the Lord's and your hard work backs up your claim you will never be led astray by false teaching or glamorous sin.

II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

The Lord will choose those that are willing to product fruits that will be useful to bring more servants to fill his vineyard of faithful believers.

1 Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

The Lord is looking at your heart Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Ephesians 1:18 I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints,

In the day when the Lord was looking for a leader for the people of Israel he was   not focusing on the outside of the person, but at the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

As we live in this world we are servants in the flesh to labor with our hands on our jobs, but not to please man with the cares of the world and erase our true propose and reason in serving the Lord, make our calling sure.

Colossians 3:22,23  Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:  23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

I Corinthian 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

If we are consistent in the work of the Lord we become unmovable in our faith with Christ, Jesus, and always feeling comfortable with our labor in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

If you love the Lord with all your heart you will not let your labor in the Lord go dry.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Remember, when you labor for the Lord you are not wasting your time, but earning your wages for the glory of God.

Labor in the Lord

Are you on the Godly time clock? Or are you stealing time from the Lord? For the wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

How are you laboring for the Lord? In the Carnal life, or in the spiritual life. Remember the flesh was crucified to interrupt the sin of death. The choice was with Christ which is Spiritual not carnal.

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Romans 7:14

In our life there is a great gap of void that must be filled with the Lord. This process of Laboring that the Lord expects is to be filled is spiritual and, Heavenly. Holiness is requirement for the purpose to Glorify the Lord. This will outweigh the carnal mind the fleshly desires.

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Understand the need for pleasing God. If we are on the time clock for Jesus, We should value ever minute we are laboring for the Lord, because. Matthew 6:33 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

When we labor for man on our job we say, we can’t wait to end our shift to go home, right? Remember the labor we do on this earth is temporary, and the labor for the Lord is a gift for life of Joy for eternally

I Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

Who is God?: Why are Christian's becoming weak in faith?

Who is God?: Why are Christian's becoming weak in faith?: The people of this world have drawn away from the God's holy word. The faithful are dwindling away from living to please the Lord Jes...

Why are Christian's becoming weak in faith?

The people of this world have drawn away from the God's holy word. The faithful are dwindling away from living to please the Lord Jesus Christ. Why are so many pulling away?

Hebrew 6: 4-8 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest

The labors of God have become lazy working for God. And there has been some that were involved in church activities and, always trying to help the church, and assist the Pastor when he needed help. If we pay attention to the secular world you will noticed that the so called Christian are entangled with the cares of the world mingling with the sinners in the wrong places.

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools

II Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

I Corinthians 2:14- 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Deuteronomy 13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Satan has created a false imagine in the people of this world to serve the creators and money to delay the time to repentance. Just like the days of Noah.

Romans 1:24,25 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Matthew 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Be strong and faithful onto the end the Lord will not leave you nor forsake you. Jesus Christ will strengthen you through the most difficult times. As you may know, that we are in the tail end of the coming of the Lord.

Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
