Sanctification the state of growing in divine grace as a result of Christian commitment after baptism or conversion

Hebrew 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Sanctification also means set apart from the old worldly tradition that capture the sinful life of darkness. For anyone that is in this world without Christ is a friend of the world.

I John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  

16: For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Purity: the quality or state of being pure

Synonyms: chasteness, immaculacy, innocence, modesty,chastity

Antonyms: immodesty, impurity, unchasteness, unchastity

Example <struggling to live a life of purity while surrounded by wickedness>

Obedience: The act of instance or obeying

II Corinthians 10:6-7 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

I Peter 1:22,23 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Put away the old person

Holiness: Synonyms: blessedness, devoutness, godliness, piety,piousness, sainthood, saintliness, saintship, sanctity

I Corinthian 3:17 if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

I Peter 1:15,16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
