Apart from
the cares and traditions of the world that alter our need to service God to the
fullest. How do we know we are pleasing God? Seek and ye shall find. What are
we looking for? The things that shouldn’t be and should be there in our life
haven’t you ever lost something of value and didn’t stop searching until you
found it. Remember you were using all your important senses to locate what is
missing. Our nature in the flesh is that something that is of great value we
take pride in it.
God values
us with great love
Colossians 3:6-10 For which
things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7In
the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8But
now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy
communication out of your mouth. 9Lie not one
to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10And
have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image
of him that created him:
We are more
valuable than the things God loves on this earth
Matthew 10: 29-31 Are not two
sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground
without your Father. 30But the
very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not
therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. (A farthing is worth 1
penny)
The ones
that spend more time with God in prayer and thought will have a better
respectful relationship with him. He will always be in
your thoughts
Jesus proved to the father who sent
him that he was faithful
Luke 2:52 And Jesus
increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Proverbs 8:35 For whoso
findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
In part that favor comes from trust. To
earn favor one must trust in you to gain a respect and trust will establish a
reputation. This process of earning trust is done daily not seasonal. People
will remove their ties from you like; example, if one commits an act of
adultery you have broken a trust of faith to your husband or your wife, if so
you have advertised the same unfaithfulness to your friends and family.
Proverbs 9:10 And they that
know thy name will put their trust in
thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Proverbs 3:35 Trust in the
LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
I Corinthians 2:16 For who hath
known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of
Christ.
Work hard to win for the prize
Philippians 3:14 I press toward
the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Can one lose with God on their side?
Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD
shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and
thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the
LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]:
New add 7/17
Colossians 2:11-15 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
