Promise of an oath from God

We owe God our righteousness we are in debt for our souls, why

(Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

If you believe what the word say, it well reward you.

(Romans 4:4,5) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5: But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

St. John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Meaning of reckoned: to take into consideration; to count on

                    Justifieth; to free from blame or guilt

How do we attain the blessing that was promise to us.

(Matthew 5:6) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Meaning for attain; to gain through effort achieve ; to reach or come to arrive at

We are the people of the living God that has not been forgotten

(Romans 9:23-26): And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24: Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25: As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
26: And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

See also Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

What God promised in the word of God is possible, but with a committed promise from us. Abraham didn’t put up a fight with God on a direct order to perform a duty for the Lord. Because of the righteousness of Abraham he earned his trust with the Lord. Through the attribute of righteousness from the word his faith was strong.    (Romans 4:20-25) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21: And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22: And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23: Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24: But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25: Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Meaning of Imputed: to change with; to attribute to assign or scribe to think of a belonging to

 Meaning of Justification by faith: the act by which a sinner is freed through faith from the penalty of his sin.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Don’t be lazy or lose your patience on the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12 & 17)

12: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

17: Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

Meaning of immutability: never changing or varying

                    Heirs: one who inherits or is entitled to inherit another’s property

 Jesus speaks: Works with faith is nothing and faith with out works is nothing with both of these not in operation you cannot satisfy God. (James 2:17,18 & 26)

   Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18: Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

26: For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
