The wind moves in many
directions, side to side, up and down and even makes funnels that spin like
tops. We feel the wind blowing through our hair, passing over our skin, it’s
amazing the wind even makes sound when it passes through the trees, and through
cracks, in walls and sings a tune from time to time.. Isn’t it amazing how
strong the wind could be when it reaches the fearless force to destroy what
ever gets in its way?
Getting to know the Lord
is better than just feeling the wind passing you by.
Getting to know the Lord
is like opening your heart to what you can't see, and letting the Lord be your co-pilot to direct your way in life.
Getting to know the Lord
is like saying “ah” that wind feels good hitting me across my face.
Getting to know the Lord
is like when trouble is near, like the fearless winds that will destroy what
gets in its way, and the Lord becomes your shelter you from the storm.
Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will
praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Isaiah 25:4 For thou
hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a
refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible
ones is as a storm against the wall.
The meaning of faith
Romans 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2For by
it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we
understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which
are seen were not made of things which do appear.
How do
active your faith? The first thing is when confession is made with the tongue
now you have turned it on. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation.
Focus your eyes on the Lord and doubt not
for the Lord is faithful to perform what he promise. Romans 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith
without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Don’t try to figure out how and when it
will take place, just believe and trust in the Lord and he will make it right. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all
thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Romans 8:24-25 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is
seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
