Romans 10:9-13That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for
the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

If we are
distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted,
it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same ... |

how shall we escape

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great
salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed
unto us by them that heard him;
It’s too late for repentance later
Hebrews 12:17 For ye know
how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected:
for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Why should we be ready at all time?
Ecclesiastes 9:12 For man also
knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the
birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an
evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
The coming of the Lord will be like a theft in the night
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that
hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son,
but the Father.
Zephaniah 1:14 The great day
of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even
the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
Put away childish things grew-up
1 Corinthians 13:10,11 But when that
which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11. When I was a
child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but
when I became a man, I put away childish things.
