What must we do to get saved?

St. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

We are born into this world as sinners from birth.

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Sin entered into the world from Adam. This began a business for Satan to begin a destructive path to human life, and a separation from God's truth.

Genesis 3:4-5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

We have died a spiritual death, which requires salvation and, deliverance from sin, and death.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Salvation is giving to a sinner when they are sincere, and have excepted that they are a sinner, and understand that they have falling short of the glory of God, and are ready to be converted to a child of God in the hands of Jesus Christ.

St John 3:5-7 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

I Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

St John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

"It's time to get right with the Lord Jesus Christ"

                                                  “My Challenge to you”

If you are not a Christian, I invite you to receive the hope and peace in your heart that only Jesus gives.

To become a Christian, you must deal with Christ Jesus directly. In A quiet moment, bow your head and talk to him. In your own words say something like this:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe that you died and rose from the dead to save me from my sins. I want to be with you in heaven forever. God, forgive me of all my sins that I have committed against you. Wash me in your precious blood. I here and now open my heart to you and ask you to come into my heart and life and be my personnel Savior. Amen.”

If you say that to Christ and mean it, He will come in instantly. At once you will sense you have been transferred from the devil’s dominion to the kingdom of God. Read Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Fruits of the spirit: Works of the flesh

Galatians 6:7-8

If we sow for the right reason for the glory of God, we will reap the blessing's of God.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Earthy strength is weak, and cannot fight the spiritual forces in this world to get closer to the Lord. If we face weakness with the Lord Jesus Christ the power of the Lord is greater and you will turn away from the lust of the flesh.

II Corinthians 12: 10-11  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong

I John 2:15  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

How will we know the glory of the Lord that lives in us? If we sow the word of God in our hearts, we will show the glory of God on the outside, because power is greater than our flesh.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

The carnal flesh doesn't fully comprehend the nature of God's will until, we prepare the heart in holiness to destroy the weakness of the flesh to live holy in God's eyes inside and out.

Job 37:5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

If we keep the Lord sayings we, will fear his judgments and remain in the will of God.

James 3:2  For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Your month can change the way you present yourself before man, even if they are Christians, or sinners.

Ecclesiastes 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

What drives you to live holy?

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

The true faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, will see the change in others that are falling short of holiness.

Proverb 10:9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

Living by the Spirit
Galatians 5: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Look deeply into your life, and Examine yourselves, if you are truly living in the will of God? are you living Holy for the Lord? As it is written:

I Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Hebrew 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

The fiery furnace

Daniel 3:15-29

The story of the faithful 3 Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will always remind us that God is greater the man. We seem to forget that God will get us through are most difficult times no matter what you maybe going through.

Our flesh can only see as far as we can look line of sight. Our strength is limited in this world. If you work through God, we can receive a booster in our lives with unlimited favors from the Lord. God is not line of sight. He is our overseer with no limitation.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

The devil from the beginning create a mindset that we can overpower God.

Genesis 3:4 Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

After the great flood. If you recall as the world began to turn against God again. Man created a tower to reach God, The Lord was very angry with man and change the course of man that day.

The tower of Babel

Genesis 11:4-11 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

The 3 Hebrew boys proved their faith by not trying to feature out God from a carnal, or a theory of scientific methods which ends up in endless studies of dead ends. They knew if they trusted in the Lord as a loving God they would have the upper hand on any issues of life. You are a winner with the Lord on your side. Who could compete with God?

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

As we could see in our last days science is increasing in knowledge to feature out where heaven and God exist. This is a reminder of another Babel days. The bible tells us that man will increase in knowledge.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Pray always, and always look to the Lord for direction. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had a relationship with God that would never change their mind to compromise their faith. They really loved the Lord to give there human life up for God. They had a love that was authentic.

Abraham offers Isaac

Genesis 22:1-17

In this story of Abraham and Isaac we could see that Abraham's faith was tested. Did Abraham love Isaac more then he loved the Lord?

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

9And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

The Sacrifice Averted

11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

The Greatest Commandment

Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

Matthew 22: 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

If we lost focus on the plans of God, like reading your word, praying, doing whatever  the Lord  has assigned your job skill to be etc, we displease the Lord, ether you will find yourself outside looking, in that what you had before, or God will try you with fire of trials to bring you to your knees to pray yourself to reverence him.

No trials are pleasing to anyone, but if it keeps you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ its better in the faith then falling short of the glory of God, and going to hell.

I Peter 1:17  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

God cannot be tempted with evil

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

The Evil comes from the hand of Satan.

Job 1:11-12 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. 12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Job 2:5-7 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. 6 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Covetousness

Strong desire to have that which belongs to another. It is considered to be a very grievous offense in Scripture. The tenth commandment forbids coveting anything that belongs to a neighbor, including his house, his wife, his servants, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to him ( Exod 20:17 ). Jesus listed covetousness or greed along with many of the sins from within, including adultery, theft, and murder, which make a person unclean ( Mr 7:22 ). Paul reminded the Ephesians that greed or covetousness is equated with immorality and impurity, so that these must be put away (Eph 5:3 ). A covetous or greedy person is an idolator (Eph 5:5 ) and covetousness is idolatry ( Col 3:5 ). James warns that people kill and covet because they cannot have what they want ( Eph 4:2 ).

God's promise to his servants

Isaiah 40:28-31

What a privilege it is to have the Lord watching over your life, and managing it, to assure you the comfort, and joy that will bring peace, and happiness for the rest of your life.

28. Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
To the true believers in Christ, Jesus. We, must understand that boot camp will become a lifetime experience of trials Why?

I Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy

After enduring the test of your faith through manifold temptation you now have increase your abilities to recognize the reverse opposite of God that comes from Satan.
James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Once saved through Jesus Christ our lord, and washed in the precious blood of the  Jesus Christ. You are marked as a target for Satan, "the Devil". You are definitely not a bouquet of flowers when you invade the handy work of Satan. Because you are marked by the blood of the lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus is pure Godliness, and true holiness, and Satan is evil, full of deceit, evil mischief, and he is the father of lies.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Becoming a Christian is a life time commitment to remain in the borders of a Godly life style, If you do, the Lord will provide all your needs while we are in this world.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If you look back at the faithful servants of God. The Lord was with those servants. For example: The 3 Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace. Daniel Chapter 3. King David and the Philistines Giant Goliath I Samuel 17:40-54 And there are many more, and still to this day there are great faithful servants trusting God in all that they do, and God has proven himself to us. "Praise God"

If you service the Lord who could ever stand against the Creator of mankind, and the earthly works of god's hands, and knows all things.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Lord is reminding us that it's not easy living in this world as a Christian, but the reward will be eternal life with God in heaven.

John 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The answer of the tongue

Proverbs Chapter 16

The tongue is a very powerful member of the body. The month can bring joy or, sadness to the hearing. The bible tells us, that the tongue is so powerful that it is a member of the body that is hard to control.

James 3:5-8 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

When we have the proper ingredients from the Lord being taught from the teaching of the word of God, we speak of the proper words that comes from the Lord. For the Lord is the word of God.  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

If we think that we are much more intelligent than the God the Father and, the son Jesus Christ our Lord, think again? In the beginning of time man has tried to exceed the wisdom of God, and man has failed every time.

I Corinthians 1:21 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

In this world people use the tongue to change the course of God's plan by using a form of theory and, science and study, but not spiritually seen, but carnally seen.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

If we look through the eyes and, the hearing of man theory. We find nothing but limitation and, unanswered questions. We find ourselves deeply troubled in the flesh, in turn, having a harder time finding the Lord in your life. Break yourself of pride, and be not ashamed to speaking clearly in righteousness, and Holiness once you have surrender your life in repentance to the Lord Jesus Christ and you will find peace. Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Proverbs 16:2  All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

We may walk the talk in labor, and get, what we call; getting brownie points with God. But we are not speaking what really moves us, like Jesus drives us, then our words are penny worth.

Proverbs 14:23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.

Proverbs 16:21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

Is curse words? bad words? you know, a filthy month, bad for spiritual health?  absolutely! would  God speak this way? No, you are an example as a good witness to others that are sinners living the life to please the Lord. A sinner when they see you in anger for some reason or another. You may be on the phone with someone, and you may be in some heated argument then sinner that maybe around to witness this may provoke you finish your conversation to retaliate to win. This is the devil doing, doing his job to get you unsanctified.

Colossians 3:8  But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Proverbs 16:27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

The Joy of the Lord

The fulfillment of our life is the joy of the Lord. In the life of sin, in a temporal world it's the lust of the flesh; in which it will pass away, but the life of a Christian there awaits eternal joy that is not of this world, but spiritual, and it feels great!

I Peter 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

In this scripture we see that man is only on the earth temporal. Obviously, most things have an expired date in this world. The Lord tells us that we need to find peace with the Lord, and this will give you strength and joy.

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

St John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

If you are a sinner, and have not giving your whole life to Jesus Christ you will need to understand what type of Love the Lord Jesus Christ possess.

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

The word of God also states, that if you love the world more you can't love the Father (God), because the Father is not of this world nether can he be, because he is holy.

I John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

So, If we love the world, and the things that are in the world, how will we find the un-comparable love that the Lord Jesus Christ possess.

Understand, becoming a true believer in Jesus Christ is a life time commitment. The benefit will be; The Joy of the Lord will result in the best adviser, best consoler, best healer, and a love that will never change. The reward, when the waiting time ends, and the Lord returns to take us home we will be with the Lord forever, Praise be to God.

What I hear from the month of sinners are,

1. Am not ready to commit my life to Christ

2.One day I will go to your church one day,

3. I'm a Christian they say, but they are not living the life to please God, but there belly, and they know it deep inside.

Philippians 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

It's time to stop waiting, today is the time of Salvation, and begin the joy you've been missing, the joy of the Lord will be your strength.

I need to climb higher

To describe my view of climbing higher let's look at a mountain. God uses a mountain written in the bible as a higher plat toe, a noticeable target, a sure foundation an unmovable creation of God. Let's look at some of the written words in the bible describing a sure foundation.

God was in the mountain to meet Moses, and spent time to talk to him in a higher place.

Exodus 24:18  And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Don't you feel safer on higher ground? If you have already started your journey climbing the mountain of God don't look back at were you were before.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

God used a mountain to bring Moses to meet him because the mountain was his own creation, God didn't want anything unclean to touch, even the edge of the mountain, because God is Holy.

Exodus 34:1-3 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount. 3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

Psalms 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

I Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

If your struggle through life and, you're looking for a reprieve of relief, you will need to keep climbing and never let you joy, and confidence to be turned away by the world, nor people that will mislead you from the direction God is leading you on.

Don't give the devil his praise in your hot displeasure, you will always be the winner pleasing the Lord Jesus Christ going to him in prayer and, praise keep climbing, the Lord will always be your harness.

Isaiah 26:7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

Put your care on things above

Colossians 3:2 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Our thoughts, and our ways are not like the Lord.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Trust in the Lord, and don't try to figure out how and, when it's going to happen. Just put your trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Remember, Press toward the mark...

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 66:1  Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

We are set free from sin through Jesus Christ

Romans Chapter 8:1-17

We all have come short of the Glory of God, and other words, we are sinner doom for death with no return to life again. What can we do to correct our fallen short of the Glory to God?

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

What is not acceptable as the bible call it sin?

First let us look at the 10 commandments

Exodus 20:1-17 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.13Thou shalt not kill.14Thou shalt not commit adultery.15Thou shalt not steal.16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's life, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Jesus Christ spoke and said that the greatest of all commandments is.

Matthew 22:36-40  Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We are not saved through the law, but through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Mark 2: 27 Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

This is a great statement! The law was not given to be our master, but to be a guide. First of all to Christ, and secondly to righteous living in Christ. Jesus tipped the scale so the law was no longer above us, and instead, we were above it through the sacrifice of Christ.

We most except the challenge that we are sinners fallen short of receive total freedom from death of our sins, and face Christ ,Jesus in surrendering our sins to Jesus for the remission of our sins, and be saved.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

For God so loved the world

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Once you are hook in a solid relationship with Jesus Christ nothing will be able to separate you from the love of Jesus.

Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let's be ready for a wonderful return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has told us that we will have a mansion in heaven.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

The Lord Jesus is coming soon......

Switched into clean living

Put away the old man

Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

God's amazing grace, like the song

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost but now I'm found, Was blind but now I see.

The Lord's children are marked with the blood of Jesus Christ, and with righteous. As Christian we must hold unto the truth of the word of God, and live according to what is written.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Called to be holy

I Peter 1:13-16 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Stop, the curse words, and dirty jokes

Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

The Godly will Be Delivered

II Peter 2:7-9  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

The backslider is turned back to its old ways, it's like a dog going back to its own  vomit again.

II Peter 2: 20-22 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Our holy living is seen through the instruction of the Lord in the spirit, this is how we hold strong to a Godly living.

I Corinthians 2: 14-16 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
The Lamp of the Body

Matthew 6:22-23 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Your good deeds of work are not complete with Christ, Jesus unless you have faith, and works together. (Faith is believing in Jesus Christ, and living the Holy word of God.)

James 2:18-20 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
