Romans Chapter 8:1-17
We all have
come short of the Glory of God, and other words, we are sinner doom for death
with no return to life again. What can we do to correct our fallen short of the
Glory to God?
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and
come short of the glory of God;
What is not acceptable as the bible
call it sin?
First let us look at the 10
commandments
Exodus 20:1-17 And God spake all
these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee
out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is
in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou
shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am
a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the
third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing
mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in
vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the
seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt
not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For
in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the
sabbath day, and hallowed it.12 Honour thy
father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee.13Thou shalt not
kill.14Thou
shalt not commit adultery.15Thou shalt not
steal.16Thou
shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.17Thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's life, nor his
manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is
thy neighbour's.
Jesus Christ spoke and said that the
greatest of all commandments is.
Matthew
22:36-40 Master, which is the
great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said
unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the
first and great commandment. 39 And the
second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On
these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
We are not saved through the law, but
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith
of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be
justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the
works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Mark
2: 27 Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the
Sabbath.
This
is a great statement! The law was not given to be our master, but to be a
guide. First of all to Christ, and secondly to righteous living in Christ.
Jesus tipped the scale so the law was no longer above us, and instead, we were
above it through the sacrifice of Christ.
We
most except the challenge that we are sinners fallen short of receive total
freedom from death of our sins, and face Christ ,Jesus in surrendering our sins
to Jesus for the remission of our sins, and be saved.
John
3:5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of
the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
For God so loved the world
John 3:16 For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
Once you are hook in a solid
relationship with Jesus Christ nothing will be able to separate you from the
love of Jesus.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate
us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is
written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep
for the slaughter.37 Nay, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For
I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor
depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let's be ready for a wonderful return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has
told us that we will have a mansion in heaven.
John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be
troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go
ye know, and the way ye know.
The Lord Jesus is coming soon......
