**Praying
is not worship? Praying is asking God for something.
Praises
is not worship? Praises is when God has answered your prayer. And when you
received it you praise him.
Worship
is feeling of the Heart, when you have Jesus, and love him. Worship him in
truth – when you worship him it’s in love spirit and in truth.
Psalm 118:28-29 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
(Ephesians
5:8,9) For ye were
sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of
light: 9: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth;)
Psalm 66:20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away
my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
Hebrew 13:15
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that
is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Do not full
fill the lust of the flesh, but full fill the desires of the spirit of God. Why
do we need to worship the Lord? Why can’t we just come to church, and just hear
the word of the day, or evening, and just live a good life as a Christian, and
just don’t worry about praising the Lord?
How do we
feel when getting up in the morning and you lack strength to go through the
day? Where does your strength come from? Rest and good eating habits helps keep
your body moving at a good pace.
We do not
live by bread alone, we are fed by God
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of God.
Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee
with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might
make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of the LORD doth man live.
Let’s look
at this in a spiritual way.
Faith coming by hearing, and hearing
by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by
hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Psalms 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the
LORD.
The Lord said if we don’t praise him the rocks will. And remember,
even the birds and animals praise the Lord.
Psalms 69:34 Let
the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
Psalms 96:9 O
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Luke 19:40 And he answered and said
unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would
immediately cry out.
The Lord is your strength
Exodus 15:2 The LORD [is] my strength
and song, and he is become my salvation: he [is] my God, and I will prepare him
an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt
him.
The Meaning of Exalt:
1:
to raise in rank, power,
or character
2
:
to elevate by praise or in estimation : glorify
3
4
:
to raise high : elevate
5
:
to enhance the activity of : intensify <rousing and exalting
the imagination — George Eliot>
Romans 14:11 For it is
written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God.
Are we
thankful? How do we appreciate our daily reward?
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we
receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may
serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
