Have you
ever planted a seed in the ground, and waited patiently for the plant to grow
and when the time to gather your vegetables you rejoiced for the harvest is
ready to eat. Could you of rushed the seed to grow faster by speaking to the
seed with authority and make it grow faster? Could you argue how you want the
plant to grow?
God has the
plan for your life on how you will grow spiritually. God sets the rules to
instruct the way to live a better and joyful life.
Now, what if
we didn’t attend to the needs of the seed? No water, no sun light, no
fertilizer. Would it be correct to say, that the seed will lack its needs, and
it will not grow? Or it could die.
What we sow
into our life affects the course of growth in the seed that God has placed in
you. Would you plant weeds with your seeds, to grow with your vegetable in your
garden? At times the weed will spring up and try to shock the vegetables.
Galatians 6:7-10 Be not
deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also
reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men,
especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Sow that with pertains to the seed of
God in you, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh
lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are
contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Loving themselves, more than lovers of God
II Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,
unholy,
The seed that the Lord has placed in you is
the word of God. Each day that you read the word of God you are fertilizing your seed for growth.
And don’t forget you need to be watered daily. Prayer is the power of strength
in the word of God.
Ephesians
6:18 Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope;
patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and
shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the
same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
