Bonded to Christ

Bonded to Jesus Christ is like a 2 part glue. A 2 part glue consist of 2 different compound liquids that only work when you mix the 2 liquids together to make a strong glue subsist.

When you mix the right ingredients you get what taste better, looks better, feels better, matches better etc.

Idea of making a good bond with Jesus Christ is that you need the right ingredients to make a bond.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

If we mix ingredients not in the recipe we will not complete what we aim to do.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Let us remind ourselves about the story of Balaam and Balak in the book of Numbers chapter 22.

If God gives us in order we should obey and, not question the Lords decision, he is or guide. In the story of Balaam and Balak, God gave orders to Balaam not to travel with Balak. Balak was afraid of the people of Israel because Moses and the people of Israel drove out the Amorites from there city, So Balak wants to destroy Israel and become greater than the people of Israel.

If you separate yourself from the cares of the world you will only see what matters the most in Christ, Jesus. Losing focus on your path to a correct direction will lead to foolish decisions not made for the glory of the Lord.

Don't be like the 5 foolish Matthew 25:1-13

The word of God is the best ingredients to a perfect life with God, we need to listen to the Master Chief because he knows best. The Master Chief is Jesus Christ. Food is not the answer to your spiritual strength, it's the word of God.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Also see St. John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Are you ready to bake with the right ingredients?

The Christian survival kit

We need to check if we have the necessity to meet the needs for survival in this world.

Have you ever planned a camping trip? If you haven't it requires lots of planning, and preparation. First you locate the place where you will be camping, then find out the best time to go. After that it's time to gather all your gear together and make sure you have a check list on all the items you will need for your camping adventure.

Planning your camping trip requires early planning.

Now let's talk about our survival kit for a Christian. There are many needed requirements for survival as a believer in this world, and one most important is Salvation. 2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

When we are in this world we need to protect ourselves from the filth of it. ("SIN"). It's like forgetting to put on bug spray when you are out in the wilderness trying to keep the mosques of your body from bitten you. The word of God is your preparation guide to a planned journey in this life.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Let the blood of Jesus cover you and the word of God guide you.

Psalm 121:7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

Camping could be lots of fun, but there are also dangers as well. As we surround ourselves with Jesus Christ in our life the adversary is always on the watch to make you fall.

Job 30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

Think of camping in the wilderness, and think of snakes, bears, alligators spiders etc. There are many dangers that could ruining your fun. As believers in Christ we need to realize that living in this world we are going to experience dangers alone the way, but not to stop us from doing what the Lord wants us to do. Think about this? If we planned a camping trip, we are aware of the dangers that lurk in the wilderness, but we still go.

The Lord tells us to be aware of the dangers, but the Lord will not leave you or forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

How about food for survival? Yes, we need food. When we pack our food for our camping trip we need to remember the food that we pack must be food that will not go bad unrefrigerated, because there will not be no electricity to plug in an appliance. This is like always be ready for the any situation as a believer in Christ, Jesus.

Remember when Jesus Christ fasted and was praying for 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness?

Matthew 4: 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

The point of the matter is that our strength is in the word of God. We could survive solely on the word of God to get us through life. Jesus is the master builder of your life.

A vow unto the Lord

In the old testament to become a Nazarite you must make a commitment to consecrate you life to the Lord for the rest of your life. Making a vow to the Lord should never be broken.

Numbers 6:1-8

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD: 3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. 4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no rasor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

6 All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body. 7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head. 8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.

When making a vow to the Lord or anyone, as a promise to assure to pay it.

Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Here in the book of Deuteronomy the Lord tells us that don't delay in paying what you promised him, or it will become sin unto you.

Deuteronomy 23:21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

Numbers 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

It were better not to make a vow into the Lord then to make one and not keep it.

Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

Jonah in the bible broke a promise to the Lord. The Lord told Jonah to go unto Nineveh to preach unto them, because the city of Nineveh was sinful, and Lord had compassion on them and he was giving the people of Nineveh another chance to salvation to be delivered.

Jonah decided to take another route and avoided the promise to the Lord and run from doing what he promised that which he said he was going to do to preach into the city of Nineveh.

So, Jonah decided to flee from the presence of the Lord, and Jonah took a ship to Tarshish.

Jonah 1: 3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

Sin will follow you wherever you go. As Jonah was sailing to Tarshish a great storm came and the ship was tossing hard on the sea to the point that the ship was going to parish. The shipmasters of the ship was so afraid that he ordered everyone on the ship to start praying to their gods, but nothing was changing the condition of the storm, so the shipmaster went down into the lower part of the ship if there were other people to pray unto there gods, and he found Jonah sleeping, and the shipmaster woke up Jonah and told him to pray to his God. The shipmaster had no clue that he was the cause of the problem, and the shipmaster also had no clue that he served a true God.

Jonah 1:4-6  But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken. 5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 6 So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

Why do we break a promise God? The answer to that is we lose the fear of the Lord because we are drawn  away of our own lust.

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

A person that reroutes from a path when that person is tempted in his flesh to fulfill a desire that burns in a caving to finish the need. (The devil is the tempter)

Jonah prayed in the belly of the whale that God holds the key to salvation.

Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

The Enemies of the King

**Matthew 15:1-39**

Enemies of Christ major on man-made rules and traditions, which, however practical, should never hold precedence over God-given commands or biblical principles. Obey Him!!

--Jesus taught the truth and manifested love and concern for all who came to Him. In stark contrast, the scribes and pharisees insisted on a literal and often painful application of Law. They believed in keeping rules above and beyond any human need. Note, that like so many who object to the truth, they had no alternative to offer. Jesus healed the sick. What did the Pharisees offer in place of His healing? Jesus gave hope and spiritual comfort to those who came to Him. What did the scribes or pharisees have to give to the lives of those who were hurting? We should also consider that the scribes and Pharisees were as much in need as anyone. Surely, there were sick and crippled scribes and pharisees. No doubt, some scribes and pharisees had blind chidren or deaf loved ones. Jesus could have helped these people as He had helped others. Their doubt and unreasonable questioning cut them off from the ministry of Jesus. Not only did they not receive any physical help from the Lord, they did not receive the spritual message that could have saved their souls and brought them into the kingdom of God. We should keep in mind the things we are giving up when we question and doubt the ministry of Jesus. --

The Truth about the Scribes and Pharisees

Matthew 15:3-9

"But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and , He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, it is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; and honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mougth, and honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

**Isaiah 29:13**

"Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:"

--The people claimed to belong to God, but they were disobedient and merely went through the motions; therefore, God would bring vengeance upon them. Religion had become routine instead of real. Jesus quoted Isaiah's condemnation of Israel's hypocrisy when he spoke to the Phariees, the religious leaders of his day. --

The pharisees were faced with arguing not only with the Law, but also the Prophets. Isaiah had declared that a people would come who honoured God with their mouths while their hearts were far from God. They would teach as doctrine the commandments of men. This prophecy was fufilled in the Pharisees and Scribes.

The truth about Defilement

Matthew 15:10-14

"And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

Matthew 15:17-20

"Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: these are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man."

Seek and ye shall find

First seek the Kingdom of Heaven and in your life as a believer on the earth you will have favor with God.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The Lord is giving us the answer on how to entering into the Kingdom of heaven. In this scripture Jesus is letting us know that if we hold onto sin you will not receive the blessings of the Lord, and If you let your sins go, then Heaven will be open for your rewards that come from God. The bible tells us that those that are written in the book of life will enter into heaven, and those that are sinners will be written in the book of death, that means you're going to hell.

Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The book of life and death

Psalm 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

This is an area that we must trust the Lord. Many Believer hear the word and get excited when they receive the salvation of the Lord, because they feel relieved from condemnation, but from the lack of reading the word of God, and praying earnestly they fall way.  This is what the Lord Jesus Christ is tell us that we must seek for the righteousness of the Kingdom of God where there is no sin nor evil. This will keep you from looking for joy in the wrong places.

Jesus also tells us that there are many mansions in my father's house

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This part in the bible is to encourage you to seek for the glory of Heaven, and give you hope to receive your reward beforehand.

The Lord remind us that those who overcome the trials and the lust of things that will corrupted  your faith with our Lord Jesus Christ will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. This scripture tells us that only those who over come will receive the reward of Heaven with God.

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

What do we need to overcome?

Luke 4:1-13 The story of Jesus in the wilderness been tempted of Satan

I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

When we go through our deepest trials that almost break us, you should focus on the things that belong to the Lord, Think heavenly thoughts, imagine your reward in heaven. Remember we are living in world  that is temporal only. I know that it is hard to bear at times the trials that hit us from time to time, but the Lord knows all things. Jesus will strengthen you, and bless you beyond your imagine nation. God is good.

I Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

What a beautiful place, it will be.

Revelation 21:10-27

The Lord knows that we are in need of necessity, but the this is what the bible says.

Matthew 6:25-32 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

The end of pain, and sorrow

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Bragging about your work as a believer in Christ, Jesus to others will not earn you credits for receiving your ticket into heaven.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Extra verses to remember on praying

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Romans 15:30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

The feeling of peace

Matthew 26:42
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Jesus on the night that He was betrayed was troubled in His spirit and He went to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. He went back three times and kept praying, saying the same words again. There is a time to pray in faith and stand on it, but here we see that Jesus Himself went back and prayed the same words again when He was troubled and sorrowful. He prayed until He had the peace to face the trial that was coming.

I often pray while driving down the road, but real peace comes to me when my face is on the carpet pouring my heart out to God. Pray hard, get real, get serious, it is life changing. Submit your life to God’s plan with “My Father, Your will be done.” I have seen impossible situations change overnight through intense prayer, but you have got to be desperate. You have got to want it.

Today if you are facing something that will not leave you alone, and you are troubled, anxious and sorrowful. Find a quiet place alone and spend time praying and sitting in the Lords presence until the peace comes. When it does, you can face anything.

Be persistent to the Lord, he hears your prayers
Hebrew 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Have a wonderful day in the Lord, May God bless you
