In the first
stages of our spiritual construction to building our church we are going to the
supplier for our materials needed to build our church. (The Word of God) Keep
it in mind that we are building a church from a prepared set of plans. The most
important part is the foundation. It must support all the weight of the church
that sits on the foundation. Let's begin the process.
Building a
foundation starts off with Jesus Christ, as the foundation.
Isaiah 28:16
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a
stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he
that believeth shall not make haste.
Jesus Christ
is the begin stage for a sure
foundation.
Isaiah 33:6 And
wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength
of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of
God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And,
Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Reading the
instruction on the plans (The Word of God) we are going the maker of his design
to make the foundation made of the best materials.
Hebrews
11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is
God.
Strongest
foundation is made by believing in the Son of God, Jesus Christ
Matthew
16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will
build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Let's begin
by building the walls. The walls will consist bearing the same strength as the
foundation with 4 walls, reinforced with the blood of Jesus Christ.
The Full Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-17
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the
power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and
having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your
loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet
shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Storms will come if your
foundation, your walls, and your roof is made by plans (The Word of God) you
will live in peace with Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee,
nor forsake thee.
